Sweet art from Culinard

Students from Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College created the chocolate masterpieces above, while the lower photo shows examples of Chef Jared Danks' work in sugar blowing. He and some of the Birmingham Pastry Arts students recently demonstrated this fine art at a Birmingham Zoo event. Nick Hartman from Culinard's advisory board also participated in the exhibition event with an ice carving.
