Savannah Culinary Students Help Elementary School Students Go Gourmet for a Day

Students at Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College in Savannah, recently participated in an event to introduce healthy cooking techniques and local foods to East Broad K8 School.
Under the leadership of Program Director Amberley Rowe-Stewart, Culinard students worked with local chefs to put together a healthy meal for students and staff that included mushroom-infused meatballs, which one student said was “candy good.”
