Culinard News

Ms. Jean Johnson Petties, Senior Director, Community Relations for the Birmingham Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, accepts a cash donation of approximately $5000 to be used for the organization's Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.  The money was raised as part of the quarterly gala at Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College, and came mostly from students, staff and guests of the school who participated in the event at The Restaurant at Culinard in late September.  The donation is being presented by Don Keith, VP of Advertising and Communications at Education Corporation of America, the parent company of Virginia College and Culinard.
